Three Creeks Brewing Company has partnered with Warfighter Outfitters, a Sisters-based non-profit for disabled veterans, to create the Warfighter Pale Ale in cans and draft to help raise money and awareness for the non-profit. The brewery is very proud to release Warfighter Pale Ale just after our 10th anniversary. While the brewery has done charity beers before, this is the first opportunity that we have had to can a seasonal beer. Both Warfighter Pale Ale cans and kegs are available.

About the beer

ABV: 5%  IBU: 45

The Warfighter Pale Ale is crisp and refreshing, brewed with a touch of crystal and honey malt, alongside Comet, Amarillo and Strata hops. Brewed specifically to support our friends at Warfighter Outfitters, who provide fishing, hunting and engagement trips to Military Veterans.

The Warfighter Pale Ale is “America’s Beer” as the star-spangled can label boasts two slogans – “Supporting Veterans, One Beer at a Time” and “Drink Beer. Support Veterans.” 10% of can and keg sales goes toward the non-profit, helping raise money to take more veterans “on the waters and beyond.”

Founded in 2013 by Army Sergeant Brett Miller, Warfighter Outfitters takes disabled veterans from all across the country on fishing, hunting, and public works trips, all at no cost to the participants. One hundred percent veteran owned and operated, Warfighter Outfitters maintains a low overhead, ensuring that funds raised go directly to getting more disabled veterans outdoors together. In 2016 alone, Warfighter Outfitters took over 2,000 disabled veterans out on day-long fly fishing trips on the Deschutes River, weekend hunting trips in the forests of the northwest, and on week-long “engagement” trips doing public works projects at national parks.

Earlier this year, Three Creeks Brewing won the 2018 Restaurant Neighbor Award for the state of Oregon and was nominated for the 2018 Nationals. This prestigious national award honors restaurants that go above and beyond in community service and philanthropy and aims to inspire other restaurateurs to get or stay involved in their local communities.
